Terms of Service

Acceptance and eligibility

By accessing or using Eagle Lake 360, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under the age of legal majority where you live, you may use the service only with permission from a parent or legal guardian.

About the service

Eagle Lake 360 provides an interactive collection of panoramic photography and a geography game based around Eagle Lake in Pennsylvania. The project is independently operated and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by Eagle Lake Recreation Community.

Accounts

Accounts are optional. You are responsible for providing accurate information, maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials, and activity performed through your account. Usernames and display names must comply with site rules and may be changed or removed if they are misleading, abusive, infringing, or inappropriate. Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

Acceptable use

You may not use Eagle Lake 360 to:

• Break the law, violate another person’s rights, harass others, or submit unlawful or harmful material.
• Attempt to access private administrative areas, accounts, systems, or data without authorization.
• Interfere with the service, evade rate limits, introduce malicious code, or overload its infrastructure.
• Automate gameplay, manipulate scores, exploit bugs, or otherwise obtain an unfair leaderboard result.
• Scrape, crawl, bulk-download, extract, reproduce, or redistribute panoramas, map data, account data, or site content without written permission.
• Upload profile images or submit names, usernames, reports, or comments containing explicit, hateful, deceptive, infringing, or abusive content.

Your submissions

You retain any rights you have in a profile photo, report, comment, or other material you submit. You allow Eagle Lake 360 to host, process, display, reproduce, modify, and use that material only as reasonably necessary to operate, moderate, secure, and improve the service. You represent that you have the right to submit the material. We may reject or remove submissions at our discretion.

Gameplay and leaderboards

Game modes, timers, difficulty ratings, scoring rules, streak rules, and leaderboard eligibility may change. Scores may be recalculated, excluded, or removed when they are incomplete, invalid, affected by a bug, manipulated, or associated with an ineligible or suspended account. Leaderboard availability and historical results are not guaranteed.

Map accuracy and safety

The map, labels, coordinates, sections, imagery, and other location information are provided for exploration and entertainment. They may be incomplete, outdated, or inaccurate and must not be relied on for navigation, emergencies, property boundaries, legal access, safety decisions, or official community information. Respect private property, posted rules, residents, visitors, and all applicable laws when visiting any depicted location.

Copyright

Unless otherwise stated, the original panoramic photographs, thumbnails, written content, branding, graphics, interface design, and other original materials on Eagle Lake 360 are protected by copyright and other intellectual-property laws. Google Maps, map labels, map imagery, and other third-party materials remain the property of their respective owners.

You may view Eagle Lake 360 through the site for personal use. You may not download, copy, republish, redistribute, publicly display, modify, create derivative works from, or use any photograph or panorama to train an artificial-intelligence system.

Written permission is required before using Eagle Lake 360 photography on another website, social account, publication, dataset, application, or project. Questions about permitted use can be sent to hi@eaglelake360.com.

Third-party services and links

The service includes Google Maps and may link to other websites or services. Third-party services are governed by their own terms and policies. Eagle Lake 360 does not control and is not responsible for third-party content, availability, security, or practices.

Availability and changes

We may add, change, suspend, restrict, or discontinue any part of the service, including during maintenance, without guaranteeing advance notice. We do not guarantee that every feature, panorama, account, score, favorite, or record will remain available indefinitely.

Suspension and termination

We may restrict, suspend, or terminate access when we reasonably believe these terms have been violated, the service or another person is at risk, or action is needed to comply with law. You may stop using the service or delete your account at any time.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

Eagle Lake 360 is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of accuracy, availability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Eagle Lake 360 and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, access, reputation, or opportunity arising from use of or inability to use the service. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute will be handled in a court with proper jurisdiction in Pennsylvania, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
